Blackmount Energy Co-Founder

Laurent Debart

Director and co-founder with 30+ years of experience in manufacturing, consulting, shipping, and the superyacht industry. His expertise spans diverse roles including founder, shipbroker, and CEO. Successfully established a leading industrial shipbroking company in Asia, serving major steel mills, mining, and energy companies. His recent focus is on zero-emission shipping and alternative fuels. Laurent holds a BA from the University of London and an INSEAD finance degree.

Laurent Debart

Co-founder with 25+ years of experience in the global shipping industry. He held managerial positions at leading multinational shipping corporations and managed a maritime investment portfolio at Fosun Group. His advisory work facilitated over $1B in Chinese ship financing transactions. Cheng holds a bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University and an MBA from Dartmouth College.
